FLHS Music 

At the Fox Lane High School, the core performing ensembles include the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, 9th Grade Girls Chorus, Mixed Chorus, Chamber Choir, Freshman Orchestra, Concert Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra. Additionally, the co-curricular ensembles are:  Jazz Ensemble and Wind Ensemble.  Extra-curricular ensembles include:  Pep Band, Commoners, Foxapella, Jam Club and Rock Ensemble (auditioned).

As a result of weekly small-group lessons, musicians also have the opportunity to develop musical skills and to perform in small chamber music ensembles. Outside of the performance-based classes, the Fox Lane High School music department offers courses in Music Technology, Multi-media Technology, and, both beginning and Advanced Placement Music Theory.
