Bedford by the Numbers - This report is a data filled document designed to be a single source for much information about the District. It is produced annually, usually in January.
District Profile Report - This report is an overview of the Bedford Central School District and provides a snapshot of information about every department and each of our schools. It is produced annually, usually in the fall.
State of the District Report - This report is presented annually by Dr. Hochman at the beginning of each school year and describes as the title implies "the state of the district." Student Performance Report- This report describes our progress toward proficiency for all students on State tests and local proficiency measures and student attendance. The presentation outlines a discussion about how this, and other, data inform our decision making, goal-setting, and development priorities as we enter a new school year. This reported is produced annually.
State of the Curriculum Report -This report is designed to inform both the teaching and learning community, and the broader community, about the current status of the written, taught and assessed curriculum in Bedford. Perhaps more importantly, it will serve as a benchmark against which curriculum decisions—changes, enhancements, additions, deletions—can be assessed. It is broadly organized into sections by curriculum area, and it covers grades K-12. Prior to presenting the real substance of the report, we have attempted to provide some background information that describes the current standards-based approach to teaching and learning, and an explanation of the process we plan to use to implement the recommendations.
State of Operations Reports - These reports are presented annually and describe the areas of the Business Office, Capital Planning, Buildings and Grounds, Transportation and Food Service.
State of Technology Report - This report is presented annually and describes the District's instructional and administrative technology and support.
Sustainability Committee and Report - This report describes the district's efforts on sustainability.
Co-Teaching Partnership- This report was presented by Linda Schluter at the February 3, 2010 Board of Education meeting and included a historical perspective, the process, program assessment information, challenges and next steps.
