Kindergarten Holiday Show

The kindergarten students danced and sang their way into the hearts of the audience.  "I Have a Little Dreidel," "Jingle Bells," and "Feliz Navidad" were some of the songs they sang.  After the show, family and friends joined the kindergarten classes to share some refreshments and good cheer.

Author & Illustrator Eric Velasquez Visits MKES

MKES kindergarten, first and second graders were treated to a special author/illustrator visit on December 12th. Eric Velasquez shared how he became a reader and a writer as well as how he learned to draw illustrations. Computer CODING at MKES

Millions of students participated in the Hour of Code during the week of December 8-14, 2014, in celebration of Computer Science Education Week. MKES 4th Grade Makes Lunch For The Homeless

4th Grade Word Masters Challenge at MKES

MKES Winter Bingo

On Thursday, December 4th MKES hosted its’ annual Winter Bingo Night and bake sale for students and their families. We had a full house, and some good old fashioned family fun. MKES staff, coupled with the high-energy music of DJ Mike Cutri, made the night fantastic. Colonial Man Visits MKES 4th Graders!

MKES fourth graders had the wonderful opportunity to work with Sam Ladley, the Colonial Man, for a two-day hands-on workshop.  Each day began with an assembly for all of 4th Grade, during which Sam dressed in period clothing, describing the daily life of both Native Americans and Colonial people, while sharing authentic artifacts with the children.  Students then had the chance for... more info

Harlem Wizard Player KING ARTHUR visits MKES

1st Grade Visits The Mount Kisco Police Station

Our first graders took a walking trip to the Mount Kisco Police Station! Students learned about the roles and responsibilities of police officers in our community. Students had the opportunity to tour the police station and saw the court room, the control room, a jail, and even had the chance to sit in a real police car!

The Random Farms Theater Group Performs at MKES

How Many Blades Of Grass?
