4th Grade Trip to Bedford Historical Society
Mount Kisco Elementary School
The fourth graders visited the Bedford Historical Society on June 4th. They learned about what life was like in Bedford during colonial times.  They visited the general store, the one-room school house, and the court house.  At the court house, the students participated in mock trials where they took part as the defendants, witnesses or the jury.

Spanish After-School Enrichment Program Concert

4th GRADE SCIENCE WEEK!!!

Fourth graders are currently involved in 'science week.' They are working in small groups to build devices that incorporate at least 3 simple machines.  These simple machines must 'work' to move a ping-pong ball that will eventually land in a small paper cup.  Students are building these devices out of a wide variety of materials such as K'Nex, Legos, duct tape, cardboard, and... more info

*** MKES NIGHT *** Screen-Free Week & P.E. Week Events

On Tuesday, May 6th 2014 over 150 MKES students accompanied by their families came out to participate in MKES night, part of our Screen-Free Week and PE Week. Students participated in yoga classes, made funny sock puppets and played in the Staff vs. Student kickball game. It was a beautiful night and every student had a great time!
