Dear Fox Lane High School Senior:

Welcome to the final year of your journey here at Fox Lane! I hope that you have been enjoying your summer vacation and are gearing up for an amazing Senior year! We are looking forward to welcoming you back on September 3rd.

Many of you have already attended your mandatory parking meetings in June. During those meetings, the overwhelming feedback received was to maintain parking as we have in the past years, which is given on a “first come-first serve” basis. We have identified multiple days throughout the summer for students to submit applications. Parking is limited, and we will do our best to accommodate as many of you as possible. Therefore, we will also be utilizing the tennis court lot and the student spaces in the administration lot (red-lined spaces only) for senior parking this year.

Any Seniors wishing to apply for parking will be required to attend a meeting prior to their application being accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you were unable to attend one of the 2 sessions in June, we will provide additional opportunities during the first week of school. Eligible Seniors who have already attended the mandatory parking meeting and who bring a copy of a valid NYS driver’s license, a copy of the vehicle registration, a signed parking contract, the meeting certificate, and $26.00 (cash or check made payable to Bedford Central School District) may pick-up a parking permit from Ms. Jorgensen in the Guidance office on the following days:

    JULY:            Monday, July 29 – 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

                         Tuesday, July 30 – 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

    AUGUST:       Monday – August 12, August 19 and August 26 – 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

                          Tuesday – August 13 and August 20 – 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

If you are unable to come in on the above dates, and if we have any parking spots remaining, we will continue to accept applications in the Guidance Office once school is in session.

Permission to park on school grounds is a privilege. It is your responsibility to make sound decisions in order to maintain that privilege. Please read over the contract and the requirements carefully so that we can ensure a safe environment for all who park their vehicles on school grounds.

My best wishes to you for a happy and successful senior year.

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Spector

    Assistant Principal
