We welcome your contributions to all FLHSA supported activities via "SignUpGenius," an online tool to register volunteers and donations for events. Back to School Night/Hospitality table
September
Volunteers needed to set up, serve and clean up at hospitality table for 600+ parents.
Donations of substantial snacks and beverages needed.
Eighth Grade Parent Orientation
January
Current Ninth Grade parent volunteers needed to set up, serve, clean up and welcome parents of next year’s freshman class.
Food and beverage donations needed for 150 parents.
Staff Appreciation Lunch
May
Volunteers needed to set up, serve and clean up during catered lunch held in honor of teachers and staff.
Donations of additional food items, centerpieces, etc. needed.
Graduation Brunch
June
Volunteers needed to set up, serve and clean up during brunch held after graduation rehearsal.
Food and beverage donations to feed entire senior class needed.
Scholarship Committee
October – May
Committee members needed from each of the elementary school districts to help in reviewing applications for two $1,500 scholarships awarded to FLHS graduating seniors. Committee will also help solicit funding. Parents of Seniors may not serve on this committee.
Grade Parents’ Committee
Throughout the year
Parents needed to help class advisors orchestrate class activities.
School Store
Throughout the year
FLHSA’s primary fundraiser, the school store sells sprit wear, school supplies and snacks. Parent volunteers staff the store during lunch periods.
