School Budget Vote and BoE Election Information
PROPOSITION NO. 1 - SCHOOL BUDGET
RESOLVED: Shall the sum of $138,551,898 be appropriated to meet the estimated expenditures for school purposes of the Bedford Central School District for the fiscal year 2019-2020, and shall that same sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be raised by a tax on taxable property of the school district?

General Information: The annual school district budget vote and school board member election is held on the third Tuesday in May. For the current school year, the date is May 21, 2019. Registered voters may vote on the school budget for the 2019-2020 school year and on Board of Education members. There will be three seats whose term expires on June 30, 2019. The polls will be open from 7:00 am until 9:00 pm. Vote in the elementary school serving your attendance area. Residents must be a registered voter in order to participate in the election.

Please note the following date regarding deadlines for filing the applications:
May 14—Deadline for submitting the application if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter
May 20—Deadline for submitting the application if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter
May 21—Absentee Ballots must be received by the District Clerk by 5 pm
Ballots may only be delivered to the voter, either by mail or in person.
