Mrs. Judy Brewster is in her fourth year as Principal of West Patent Elementary School. Before coming to Bedford, she spent the past 29 years working as an educator and administrator in the Byram Hills Central School District in Armonk, NY, serving as the Assistant Principal of Wampus Elementary School for 4 years. Prior to that, she worked in Byram Hills as an Elementary Classroom Teacher and taught Grades 3, 4,  Enrichment and Theater Arts for 25 years.

Mrs. Brewster is a graduate of SUNY Purchase, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Dramatic Studies, and received her Masters in Elementary Education from Manhattanville College. She earned her dual certification in School Building Leadership and School District Leadership from Canisus College. Mrs. Brewster resides in Fairfield County with her husband, 2 children, and 2 dogs. She is inspired daily to be leading the wonderful staff and families of West Patent!
