• Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework to guide educators in reducing barriers for learners within a K-12 environment. The UDL framework provides educators with the opportunity to proactively plan for learner variability within a flexible learning environment. UDL guides educators in empowering students to become expert learners to gain the skills necessary to be goal-directed, motivated and resourceful with a variety of tools that are available.
