• Thank You Cards for Essential Workers.

    After reading and discussing Silver Packages by Cynthia Rylant, and discussing the critical role essential workers play in our community and beyond, students created, wrote, and sent thank you cards to essential workers.   The cover of the thank you card was a fox's face created from hearts. Why a fox made from hearts? That's easy! Kit the Fox is our school mascot, and we wanted to share our heartfelt thanks to all essential workers for keeping us safe and for taking such good care of us during this pandemic...and every day. 
     
     
    Valentines for Vets
     
    Students in Grade 2 wrote and decorated valentine cards for local veterans and thanked them for their service.
