2022 - 2023:
For the 2022-23 school year, Bedford Central School District was awarded a grant from NYSED in a competitive grant application process. The grant funding from NYSED will allow the District to fund a tuition-free Pre-Kindergarten program for 46 four-year-old students who reside within the BCSD boundaries. A lottery was conducted in the spring of 2022 to select the students for these 46 spots. The Pre-K Program will be housed at Bedford Hills Elementary School and Mount Kisco Elementary School, as well as within two Community-Based Organizations: Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester and Country Childrens Center. This is a recurring grant.
