District Profile

We are a diverse seven-school district located in Westchester County, an easy drive or train ride away from New York City. Serving approximately 3,599 students, we are located in an area that allows students to tend to lush gardens, explore scenic trails and visit historic landmarks. We are grateful to be supported by a variety of parent and community organizations including PTOs, The Foundation for Bedford Schools and Booster clubs.
BCSD serves Mount Kisco, Bedford, Bedford Hills, Pound Ridge, and portions of New Castle and North Castle, NY. We have five elementary schools (Bedford Hills Elementary, Bedford Village Elementary, Mount Kisco Elementary, Pound Ridge Elementary, and West Patent Elementary), a middle school (Fox Lane Middle School) and a high school (Fox Lane High School).

Who We Serve
The district is situated in a scenic area north of New York City, offering access to natural trails, gardens, and historic sites — supporting a holistic learning environment.
