New York State Textbook Loan Program **Is Now CLOSED**

    Please note, for Non-Participating Schools, the deadline to place orders is July 31st

    *Students attending out of state schools are not eligible to participate in the NYS Textbook Loan Program*

    If your child needs textbooks sooner, unfortunately, we will not be able to assist you, please order directly at the MBS website https://www.mbsdirect.net/

    ****WE WILL BE ACCEPTING BOOK ORDERS FOR 2024-25 AS OF JULY 5th****

    The Bedford Central School District uses a textbook service managed by Erie 1 BOCES/Western NY Regional Information Center for participating private schools.

    However, some schools are not participating in this program. Please follow the chart below to determine which method applies to your situation.

     ***Students May NOT WRITE/ANNOTATE in any Textbook**

    *If your school requires your child to do so, you will need to purchase the textbooks directly*

     Textbooks from the previous year must be returned, by appointment, prior to receiving the next year’s textbooks. 

    • Please make an appointment to drop off your child’s textbooks no later than the week of July 11th to have them checked in.

    • Pick up of books will be by appointment only, by August 30th 
    • Inventories of some texts are limited and difficult to obtain. Orders received after August 1st are subject to greater risk of arriving after the fall term begins
