Will Medicaid bill me if I sign the form?

No. Medicaid will bill Westchester County directly.

Do I need a prescription from my child's pediatrician to begin the evaluation process?

Yes. The agency will not set up testing appointments without a prescription.

How are these services provided if my child is eligible?

Westchester County approved agencies and providers may service CPSE students at home, school, or in a facility. 

My child is 2 years of age. At what age can I get him/her evaluated through CPSE?

2.6 is the earliest a child can be evaluated through CPSE.
