2024-2025 Advisory Committee All Calls
The Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) is charged by the Board of Education with providing insight to the Board of Education through its Finance Subcommittee on topics related to the budgets and finances of the school district.
For the 2024-2025 school year, the Board is calling volunteers to review the district’s healthcare insurance benefits and expenditures as a continuation of the 2023-24 health insurance plan selection and roll out. In addition volunteers will examine other elements of budgeting and financial reporting and analysis, such as State Aid, Transportation or other operational costs. The committee members must possess knowledge in the healthcare insurance or related field and/or have experience in budgeting or financial cost and benefits analysis.
The number of individuals responding will likely exceed the opportunities available to serve. The Board of Education will notify all applicants of their status as soon as possible. Those wishing to serve must be school district residents but do not have to have children currently in the district schools. We thank you in advance for your interest in serving the community and the children of the Bedford Central School District.
