We are pleased to announce the launch of a comprehensive search process to identify the district’s next Director of Special Education.
The position posting is being advertised on statewide websites, job boards, and social media.
We have planned a thorough process through which to review candidates and determine the best fit for the next Director of Special Education. Over the next several weeks, resumes will be reviewed, screening interviews and committee interviews will take place, and reference checks will be conducted. The interview committee will consist of representatives from all stakeholder groups, including parents, teachers and administrators. Finalist interviews will be conducted by the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents during the week of March 31. A finalist will be recommended to the Board of Education in April, with the candidate beginning on July 1.
