🌸📚 Spring Symposium: Empowering Parents to Support Summer Learning 📚🌸
Co-hosted by the BCSD Special Education Department and SEPTO

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we enter the final season of our school year, we're excited to invite you to our upcoming Spring Symposium: an evening dedicated to empowering parents to support their child's learning journey throughout the summer months.

Date: Tuesday, May 14th

Time: 5:30-6:00 Meet and Greet hosted by SEPTO, 6:00-7:30 Symposium Sessions

Location: Fox Lane High School, North Entrance

As partners in your child's education, SEPTO and the BCSD Special Education Department understand the importance of maintaining academic growth and momentum, even during the summer break. Our symposium aims to equip you with valuable insights, resources, and strategies to make the most out of the upcoming summer months. This event is open to all parents in the BCSD community.

Here's what you can expect from this event:

📝 Informative Sessions: Engage in interactive sessions led by experienced educators, covering topics such as creating a summer learning plan, incorporating educational activities into daily routines, and fostering a love for reading.

🤝 Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow parents and exchange ideas, tips, and experiences on how to support your child's learning journey effectively.

Together, let's ensure that this summer is not just a break from school, but a time for continued growth, exploration, and discovery for your child.

Please review the attached menu of symposium sessions and complete this Google form to register. There is a suggested target audience for each session, but you can choose anything that is of interest. Please register by May 3rd. We hope you can join us for this valuable evening dedicated to supporting your child's educational journey.
